  • Insulating layer, on the external perimeter wall;
  • Cavity for ventilation;
  • Support structures where to anchor the external coverings;
  • The actual external coating.

A technology that can guarantee high performance, which is why it is increasingly used in architecture for building facades. The advantages are recorded in terms of thermal, acoustic insulation, protection of the structure and enhancement of the building’s aesthetics. Obviously, these performances are guaranteed when using materials of a certain type, especially with regard to the external cladding of buildings.
Mechanism is quite simple: an empty space is created between the wall and the external cladding thus promoting the breathability of the building itself and significantly improving energy efficiency, as well as comfort.

How ventilated facades work

It can be installed on any building facade using supports that guarantee a mechanical anchoring system for the cladding, always leaving an air chamber between the external facade and the load-bearing structure of the building. This means that the building has high performance both in the summer months, as part of the heat will be reflected outside, and in the winter months.

They are elements that are specifically created for ventilated facades that allow you to create continuous ventilation (the so-called chimney effect) in the empty space of the air chamber.
